Welcome to the new school year. We would first like to thank you for choosing Stepping Stones Preschool for your child’s education. If for some reason you are electing to not have your child attend Stepping Stones this fall, please call as soon as possible.
For the upcoming school year, each child will need to bring an individual snack on a daily basis. We ask that you try to provide your child with a healthy snack in a lunch box or paper bag with his/her name on it. Please no candy, chocolate, soda and/or suckers. Children will place their snack in their cubby upon entering the school. As well, please label all backpacks, coats, etc. with your child’s name.
Copies of this year’s school schedule, the play-date curriculum, communication preference form, our drop-off policy, the classroom behavior management information, the literacy kit permission (if applicable), and your child’s school supply list will be sent to families the beginning of August. September’s newsletter will be available on your scheduled play date. A current copy of the Parent Handbook is located in the preschool lobby for your reference. Please complete and return any forms and permission slips on your play-date.
Play-dates are scheduled for 9:30-10:30 am on Tuesday, September 5th and Wednesday, September 6th. This is a good opportunity to attend a mini-class with your child and it allows your child an easier transition into the preschool environment. You will receive your specified playdate with the mailing in August.
Our first day of school will be Monday, September 11th, for the 5 day program and Tuesday, September 12th for the 3 day program.
**September tuition will be due on your specified play-date**
Please remember our Preschool runs from 9:00 am- 11:30 am. We ask that you try to arrive five minutes before the start of school and pick up no later than ten minutes after dismissal time.
